A caring veterinarian with Kentucky roots, a love for animals big and small, and a warm approach to helping pets and their people feel comfortable.
From Kentucky to Cullman
Dr. Sydney Peek recently joined Lee’s Veterinary Hospital after moving to the Cullman area from Hopkinsville, Kentucky. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023.
Her path to veterinary medicine reflects a lifelong connection with animals and a desire to help families care for the pets who mean so much to them.
A Heart for Pets and Their People
Dr. Peek brings a calm, approachable presence to the clinic and enjoys helping pet owners feel informed and supported during their visit. Whether a patient is here for routine care, a health concern, or follow-up guidance, her goal is to make the experience feel clear, thoughtful, and compassionate.
She understands that every pet has a personality, and every owner wants to feel confident about the care their animal receives.
Life with Beagles, Horses & Peaches the Cat
Outside the clinic, Dr. Peek has a full animal family of her own. Her pets include Peaches the cat, Suzie the mother Beagle, Muffin the daughter Beagle, and two Quarter Horses named Chester and Sawyer.
When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Peek enjoys barrel racing, traveling, spending time on the lake, and hunting.
