Dr. Bruce Lee
A lifelong dedication to animals, a passion for the Cullman community, and a family farm full of horses.
Roots in Alabama
Dr. Bruce Lee grew up in Jones Chapel, Alabama and graduated from West Point High School. He continued his education at Auburn University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Animal and Dairy Science.
He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. Two years later, in 1988, he opened Lee’s Veterinary Hospital to serve his hometown.
A Love for All Animals
Dr. Lee enjoys all aspects of mixed animal practice — from tiny kittens to massive draft horses.
He is an active member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, the American Association of Equine Practitioners, and the Society for Theriogenology.
Family & The Farm
His family includes his wife, Leigh, and 2 sons, Matt (married to Abby) and Jordan (married to Kristen). Dr. Lee also now has the most perfect grandson on earth named Baker.
When he is not at the clinic, Dr. Lee enjoys working on his small family farm. The Lees have several horses including Big, Maxx, Gator, Maggie, Marcy, Wallen, Jon, Persimmon, and Patsy!
